Rubber requires slow lift speeds and higher than normal lift heights since it's so stretchy. On stock settings, the Photon only raises the build platform 6mm. Rubber, however, requires a lift height of 12mm. In order to increase the lift height and slow down the lift speed, the Photon requires the user to change some internal settings that can't be adjusted from slicers like ChiTuBox. These changes require the user to issue some custom GCODE commands via a printable GCODE file. For those that are interested, all of this is documented here. Fortunately, we have made this easy for you.

Simply download two files:
Place these two files on your USB drive and plug it into your Photon. Click the Print button and select the "12mm peel.gcode" file and print it. After a short delay, your printer will beep at you twice to notify you that the settings were adjusted. Restart your printer and you're ready to go! If at any time you wish to restore the default settings on your Photon, simply print the "factory-defaults.gcode" file and restart the printer after it beeps twice at you.

We also provide a slicing profile for Rubber: Photon_MakerJuice_Rubber_0.050mm.cfg.

Load the file into ChiTuBox and you're all set!
